If the past few years have taught us anything, it’s that time is precious. It’s all the more obvious — whether you’re a parent, first responder, healthcare worker, teacher, or active military — when you spend your days on the go. It’s all too easy to get caught up in the rush of responsibilities around you, which leaves you short on everyday basics like nutrition. We believe you should never have to compromise.

With quality nutrition and performance as our M.O., we’ve been tinkering for over three years on a solution for a high-quality meal replacement. Nick Bare, our founder, CEO, and a U.S. Army veteran, was inspired to create Strong Food based on his own life experiences and current do-it-all lifestyle.

“Strong Food was created for those with a fast-paced life that often find themselves in a pinch for time, leading to compromising for inadequate nutrition. Some days prepping, cooking, packing, and heating food just isn't an option, so you need a quality meal replacement that keeps up. I learned this firsthand during my time in the U.S. Army.”

The challenge was making not only a nutritious meal replacement you can make in a pinch (or three scoops, to be exact), but to make sure it met ours and your high standards.

Our most important step was to create an effective ingredient profile. Each ingredient is intentionally chosen in an adequate amount to ensure we create an effective product — with the macros [proteins, carbs and fats] you need to feel full and be fulfilled. We had countless sampling sessions and tried numerous formulas to dial in the taste, too.”

As we take on larger challenges and objectives in life, minutes matter even more. And that looks different for everyone. But more time and better nutrition is something we all benefit from.
