Embrace The Suck Training

Embrace The Suck Training is a service hosted by Bare Performance Nutrition and offered through the Bare Performance Nutrition app (available on iPhone and Android). We understand and recognize that many gyms and training facilities around the world are currently closed due to COVID-19. In order to help you maintain your level of fitness we have created this platform, which requires minimal equipment, for FREE.

Within this platform you will find a HOME TRAINING PROGRAM which focuses on bodyweight strength, cardiovascular training and metabolic conditioning. As long as you have access to a pull-up bar (built or used in a local park), running shoes and some tables/chairs you will be able to complete all the workouts.

Sample Workout, Week 1, Day 1

  • PUSH UP TREE - Complete 3 different push up variations (normal, diamond and wide) each set. During Set 1 complete 10 reps of each, Set 2 complete 9 reps of each, Set 3 complete 8 reps of each, etc.
      • PLANKS - 4 sets, 60 second hold with 30 seconds rest in between
      • SHOULDER PUSH UPS - 4 sets, 10-15 reps, 45 seconds rest in between
      • CORE PULSE UPS - 3 sets, 20 reps, 30 seconds rest in between
      • RUN - 2 miles run at a moderate pace
